The chiseled and sleek exterior design of the Blazer is quite similar to that of the popular Camaro. Since the two base trims fall away for the new model year, you can choose from the four remaining trims, which are the 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. Three special-edition models are also offered. It's paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. For a more spirited performance, opt for the 3.6-liter V-6 engine, which comes standard on the RS trim. It also pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission that powers the front wheels and delivers an output of 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Equipped with this engine, the Blazer can tow up to 4,500 pounds. An all-wheel-drive system is available on both engines.

The Blazer provides a sporty and energetic ride, which is characterized by strong acceleration and crisp handling. You also receive above-average fuel economy from this SUV. Front-wheel-drive models that are equipped with the standard engine deliver an estimated rating of 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. A slightly lower rating of 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway is provided by front-wheel-drive models that are equipped with the optional V-6 engine.

The Blazer's cabin is pleasant to look at and comfortable. Well-cushioned and supportive seating is provided for up to five passengers and the rear cargo area offers 30.5 cubic feet of space. Folding down the rear seats opens up a maximum cargo area of 64.2 cubic feet. With the base trim, you receive a user-friendly standard 8-inch infotainment system, which features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, six speakers, USB ports, Wi-Fi hot spot capability, SiriusXM, and Amazon Alexa. The base trim is also equipped with active noise cancelation, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and premium cloth upholstery. For some added luxury, opt for one of the higher trims. Available interior features include a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated front and rear seats, and leather upholstery.
