2022 Chevrolet Colorado

You can get the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado in four trims: Work Truck (WT), LT, Z71, and ZR2. The Colorado is available as either a crew cab or an extended cab in all trims. The extended cab comes with a long box, whereas the crew cab can come with either a short or long box to fit your needs. The WT has 17-inch Ultra Silver painted steel wheels with black door handles, black manual outside mirrors, and a black tailgate handle. You also get cab-mounted cargo area lamps, a chrome rear bumper with CornerStep, daytime running lights, and a locking tailgate. Moving up trims adds additional wheel options such as Blade Silver metallic, Bright Machined, Dark Graphite, Graphite and Oxide Gold, and High Gloss Black. The LT has heated outside mirrors, while the Z71 adds power to the mirrors. The LT also comes with an EZ-Lift and Lower tailgate, a remote locking tailgate, and a spotter mirror. The off-road-ready ZR2 has larger all-terrain tires, fender flares, unique front and rear bumpers, spray-in bedliner, and a raised suspension with special dampers.

Two engine options are available for the 2022 Colorado, depending on cab configuration. You get a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder paired to a six-speed automatic on the extended cabs. This combination produces 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. The crew cabs come with a 3.6-liter V-6 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. You can choose the four-cylinder or V-6 or a third option, a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine paired to a six-speed automatic on the LT extended cab. The diesel gets up to 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. You can get either the diesel or the V-6 engine on the Z71 crew cab and the ZR2.

The WT is your basic truck with cloth upholstery, vinyl floor covering, tilt-only steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver's seat with manual recline, and a 7-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The LT adds a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, power recline on the drier's seat, and ups the touch screen's size to 8 inches. The Z71 gets you heated front seats, navigation, automatic climate control, and a seven-speaker Bose sound system.

When purchasing a truck, Chevrolet knows how important safety is and has plenty of safety and driver-assistance features on the Colorado. An advanced air bag system, rear vision camera, and Teen Driver are standard. You can also get rear park assist, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, an HD rear vision camera, and OnStar and Chevrolet Connected Services on select trims.
