The 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV is available in 1LT and 2LT. After undergoing a redesign in 2022, the Bolt EV now has a more modern appearance with a filled-in grille and thin LED headlights. It comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels. A new paint choice in Radiant Red Tintcoat is available.

Since the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV is exclusively a front-wheel vehicle, it only needs one electric motor. It's connected to a 65-kWh ion-battery pack, generating 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. The EV includes a dual-level charging cord plugging into Level 1 (140-volt) and 2 (240-volt) outlets. To fully recharge the battery with a 240-volt setup, expect the process to take seven hours. A DC fast charger with a Level 3 charger can add up to 100 miles of range in just 30 minutes.

According to the EPA, you should expect to get 131 MPGe in the city and 109 MPGe on the highway with the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV. The vehicle also has an estimated range of 259 miles and can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds.

A key feature in electric vehicles is one-pedal driving. The 2023 Bolt EV features the Regen on Demand shift paddle located beneath the steering wheel. The vehicle will speed up or slow down depending on how much pressure you place on the accelerator. If you need to stop quickly, you can still use the brakes. For city driving, use one-pedal driving to help replenish the battery.

Despite its affordable price, the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV doesn't skimp on interior features. While the base trim comes standard with cloth upholstery and automatic climate control, adding the Comfort and Convenience package gives you heated front seats and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The EV comes standard with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto connectivity accessible via a 10.2-inch central display screen. Keep your devices charged with two standard USB ports. Jumping up a trim and opting for the Infotainment package adds more ports for rear travelers, a wireless charging pad, and a premium stereo system.

Every 2023 Chevy Bolt EV includes several driver-assistance features found in the Chevy Safety Assist suite. These include lane-keep assist, automatic high-beam headlights, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. You can add the Driver Confidence package, which includes rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2LT trim comes standard with the Driver Confidence package and a surround-view parking camera system, while adaptive cruise control is available.
