Fast-forwarding fifty-two years and they’re still making their award-winning pizza to the same delectable standard. They feature 10″, 12″, and 16″ thin-crust pizzas and 7″, 10″, 12″, and 14″ deep dish pizzas with your choice of toppings. Pequod’s doesn’t offer specialty pizzas, as it’s far more fun to be able to customize your pizza to your tastes. They have over twenty-two different toppings, allowing you to make your pizza exactly what you want it to be. If you can’t come in for pizza, they can deliver it to you. Burt’s Place

Burt’s has a legacy extending back long before it opened in 1989. Burt Katz, the original owner, had fascinating and colorful life before he settled down and opened his first pizza joint in 1965. Since 2015, Burt’s has been under new management, but the same standards and traditions have continued without missing a beat. Burt’s favors deep-dish caramelized crust pizza, but they offer a thin crispy base too.

Their pizzas are available in 10″, 12″, 14″, and 16″ with thirteen different toppings to make them your own. They also have a 1/2 dough option with a thinner crust. The sizes and toppings choices may seem limited compared to other pizza joints, but these are the favorite local options. Burt’s can be found at 8541 N. Ferris, Morton Grove.

Nano’s Pizza

Nano’s has been making pizza since 1985, and it’s still owned and operated by its founders, a dynamic husband and wife team. Their love of pizza shows in the care and attention to detail in the restaurant and their fantastic pizza. They use only the freshest ingredients to make their signature thin and stuffed crust base pizzas. For a true Chicago-style pizza, they have stuffed crust pizza in 10″, 12″, and 14″.

Thin base pizza can always be made bigger, and it includes the sizes above the extra choices of 16″ and 18″. They offer six standard pizzas, and a host of toppings you can use to make the pizza your own. Nano’s is located at 5906 Lincoln Avenue, Morton Grove.
